Dudu-Osun African Black Soap

Review| Dudu-Osun African Black Soap| 5 In 1 Multi-Purpose Beauty Cleanser

Hey guys, I hope you all have recovered from the festivities?

I’ve been slowly but surely getting back to a normal routine except I’ve really noticed that my skin was suffering from the lack of sleep and sufficient water. I was asked to try out Dudu-Osun African black soap a couple of months ago and have been using it on and off the past few weeks. I first heard about the product on The Apprentice believe it or not and the concept certainly intrigued me. I really like the fact that not only is it fragrance free it also uses 100% natural ingredients which is always going to be a better option than using chemicals. Another benefit is that it’s multi purpose and can be used on the face to remove make-up, tighten pores, moisturize and to cleanse /wash hair which is brilliant especially if your travelling. This product is pocket-sized and could be thrown into your bag and would save you the hassle of packing a bag full of products.

So whats in it?

Packed with all-natural ingredients and herbs including Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Honey and Citrus Juice, Dudu-Osun is free from preservatives and artificial colors.

Created to an age-old traditional African recipe, cleanses and moisturizes without upsetting your skin’s balance.

Packaged simply in a cardboard box the soap is exactly what it says on the tin. A very large and sturdy block of black soap with a “spa” like fragrance and luxury feel. The one thing I would say is that as it is a dark soap the color can run a bit. I used a soap holder and found that to be useful for storing.

Final Results

I used this as per guidelines on my hair, face, body and found it to be true in what’s promised. After using this on my body I seen a noticeable change in the texture of my skin, it was definitely much softer.

The only slight downside for me was using on my hair. My hair is quite long and knotty so I found that this product wasn’t best suited to my hair type however I will say my roots were squeaky clean after using. If you have oily hair this would be a much better fit and would get better results.

I also tested this product on my face (I generally patch test first), again my skin was squeaky clean after using and I found it to be much quicker washing with this product than my usual routine.

All in all I have to say I am really impressed with this product and I’m really happy with my results!

Dudu-Osun is available from selected health stores and pharmacies or from www.yourtonic.ie priced €2/25g or €9.99/150g.
