Bargain Beauty Haul

Hi everyone, so sorry I’ve been a bit MIA lately as always I’ve been super busy behind the scenes with work which is always a good complaint I guess. I promise you all a lot more new content to follow really soon so stay tuned 😉

I thought I’d share with you a few of the beauty bargains I picked up recently that I’m crushing over and best of all the most expensive item is under €6. Boom!

First up is the cheapest item on my list that comes in at only 75 cent. Yeah you’ve read that right! I picked this little lip kit up in Superdrug and I actually had to double-check the price at the counter because it’s just so cheap. I mean these days what can you really get for 75 cent other than a packet of crisps?

“The vita Lip balm and scrub collection is a coconut infused pout perfecting, lip polishing duo. Enriched with finely granulated sugar to gently eliminate dry chapped skin and blended with organic Coconut oil”.

For best results apply the lip balm onto the lips regularly throughout the day to keep hydrated. To remove dead skin apply a generous amount of the lip scrub, gently massage in and remove with a tissue or a make-up wipe. I really noticed a difference when using these products before applying my lipstick, it left a much smoother and softer finish.

Superdrug are still stocking this kit on promotion for limited time only so I’d defiantly recommend picking one up and trying it out for yourself. For that price you can’t really go wrong.

Body Fantasies Signature Body spray – Superdrug €2.50

Next on my list is another Superdrug favorite. I picked up this bargain body mist from Body Fantasies Signature for only €2.50.

This is such a gorgeous fragrance with lovely sweet and fruity undertones, perfect for coming into the spring/summer months. This really reminded me of the Victoria Secret mist in Pure daydream but at a much better price.

One thing I really like is that it’s pocket-sized so it’s nice and handy for popping into your handbag and topping up throughout the day. You could also use this straight after the shower instead of using a perfume for a more subtle fragrance. Superdrug are currently stocking a variety of different scents like vanilla and cherry blossom so there’s plenty to choose from.

Suddenly Diamond – Lidl €4.99

If you’re not really into a body spray I also picked up Suddenly Diamonds perfume from Lidl for less than €5. Another fruity scent and the perfect perfume for spring/Summer. I’ve been hearing so many good things about this, I had to go and pick it up for myself and for that price I thought it was worth a review. I have to say the hype was definitely legit and I would honestly compare this to Boss Orange by Hugo Boss, apart from the fact you could probably buy about 10 bottles of the Lidl Dupe for the price of 1 Hugo Boss bottle. Again this is a spring/summer scent with strong orange and vanilla hints to it so if you’re not too crazy on that, then perhaps this isn’t the perfume for you but personally I just love it!

W7 Banana dreams loose setting powder – Health Express Pharmacy €5.50

So I’ve probably bought about 5 different setting powders in the last year only to be left disappointed with the lack of results. Being totally honest I’ve only ever bought cheaper versions and I’ve found it to be very tricky getting a knock off version that doesn’t leave your skin looking dry and discolored.

I did a bit of research and came across W7 Banana dreams lose setting powder which is apparently a dupe of Ben Nye Banana Luxury powder. I’ve been trying this out for a while now. So far so good. It definitely leaves a smooth and bright finish under eye if it’s set properly.  I’ve written a full blog post on my under eye makeup routine recently Click here  for more.

Has anyone ever tried out any of these products before or could any of you recommend some beauty dupes for me to try out?

I’d love to hear your thoughts! 🙂

Thank you for reading,

Orla ♥
